Hi Guys,

This video should answer a lot of the questions that you have all been asking about .50cal.

We have been waiting for the completion of the .50cal kits for the Victory so we should take delivery soon of the markers built for .68cal with .50cal drop in kits included in the package. Looks like they may come supplied with a.50cal STIFFI barrel included also.

LiPS are finalising the details on covering the UK for Bob Long so hopefully availability won't be too far away.

Have fun.

50 cal paint is a terrible idea. the ingredients have a product that stains. they’re harder to get to break, you will have to increase your operating pressure, which means more air, and you will have to buy new guns just because they want to make a few dollars. if anything we should go up to a .69 or .70. this could use a lower op. pressure and would break easier

You have any evidence to back up these frankly dumb claims?

The manufacturers of .50 paint are using EXACTLY the same ingredients as .68 cal and because it 's a smaller ball, it requires much less gas to propel it - roughly half as much. It also breaks just as easily as 0.68 cal.

I have personally tried it and not just listened to so-called "experts", and believe that is does have a role to play in our sport - the fact that it is much lighter and therefore "hurts" less means that it is ideal for Rec sites, allowing people (and especially girls/kids) to play without the pain factor putting them off.
