Description: We're proud to have produced a paintball marker like no other. The Ion was built to be the marker for anyone who loves the game: simple to maintain, easy to use, designed for winning. It takes abuse like a rental gun, but throws paint with the best of them. You'll get the accuracy, range and rate of fire the Pro's enjoy for just a little more money than an entry level marker. The days of having to spend tons of cash to get what you want are over.

Our Features Presentation

— 17 balls per second semi-auto rate of fire with 3 shot burst, full auto and our Rebound firing mode.
— Break-beam Vision Anti-Chop System Reliable and durable, the eyes are mounted on a separate board for perfect alignment and not affected by paint or body color. Just clean and replace (in minutes).
— A Featherweight Prizefighter At 2.2 pounds, the Ion is among the lightest high-end markers made, and it’s tube design imparts an ultra low profile.
— Reliability The Ion was engineered to stand up to the demands of professional players. It will outlast what used to be considered high-end and won't break down the minute you get it home.
— Improved Ball Detents Approximately 10 times the service life of current detents.
— Great Efficiency Expect a reliable 1000-1400 shots from a 68ci, 4500psi bottle without any modifications.
— Accuracy & Range The trademarks you expect from Smart Parts.
— Body Kits A first for paintball. High-quality aluminum internals are protected by composite shells, allowing you to instantly change the color or look of your body. Tired of blue? Switch to red. Or black. Or yellow. And there are more body styles in the works...
— Feed Tube with O-Ring Seals Fits a wider range of hoppers than most guns in this price range.
— Tools 1/8" Allen wrench is all you need for primary disassembly--and it’s included, along with trigger and velocity adjustment wrenches and a handy parts kit.
— Impulse Threads Take advantage of the barrels and feed tubes you may already have.

A first for paintball, the Ion uses an outer body kit or shell. While the inner core that protects all the functioning parts is made from aluminum, the outer shell is a high quality composite available in four colors. Not only that, but the body shell is tough, scratch resistant and does not fade or gouge. Our body kits allow you to instantly change the look of your Ion without physically changing the marker. Just replace your old shell with a new one.

Pros: Light fairly fast little marker new concept changable body CHEAP
Cons: leaking, falling apart, trigger snaps off horrible standard barrel,CHEAPNESS

Ive had verious markers over the years and the Ion is one of them.I bought my ion brand new when they first came out on a wim.I was board and was interested in getting a different gun as some gimp ran my angels charger over I needed a spare gun and quick. So I bought the ION I got it home took the wraping off and there it was nicely layed out just waiting to be taken for a spin. So I took it to my local playing field gasses up the bottle read the instructions then put the bottle on.INSTANTLY it started leaking alot so i took the bottle off read how to strip it down did all that then checked where the leak came from it had a lose hose so i sorted that put it back together gased it up and it lived.I set it up on the chrono then I played 3 games went in and noticed the triggers side to side movement 1cm each way and unadjusted trigger this was odd so i adjusted the trigger and went out on another game.where it started leaking again. So i fixed it again. The next time I was going was a walk on day a Bawtry the fist game was hyper ball the trigger was SHOT off so I ended up with the old angel again.and went out and bought a charger. The other problems are the barrel is awful the feed neck comes lose and falls off even when lock tighted in other than the money saving bits its not to bad a marker just get rid of the trigger feedneck barrel and the standard internal hoses conectors and it should manage to work for a day or so.My ion is now a paper weight the main valve failed at a tourniment and the team have told me to stop trying to use it.Its a shame but im back with my old LED angel at least its not a complete loss make a nice display peace and will one day get all the gremilns out of it.I would still recomend the ION but would say check it before leaving the strore and get an upped one it will save you money in the long run.

Pros: Cheap for performance
Cons: Ups required

I bought second hand stock Ion, and has not let me down, once. Score would have been 10/10 but to make marker practical to use have had to add q-lock feedneck and Oops.

Has never chopped and stock barrel very rarely gets barrel breaks. Have no complaints regarding stock trigger, have had no air leaks, or other problems, and would recomend this marker for someone who is starting out on a budget, however wants to have performance close to that of high end markers.

Possibly not the best looking marker out thier, but what the hell, it does what it says on the tin. It fires paint reasonably accurately at a high rate of fire.

Pros: Accurate, cheap, reliable, robust
Cons: Doesn't last long on air

I got this back in January and it's had three boxes through it, hasn't broken a single ball! I even tried it with eyes off in full auto for a while and it still worked flawlessly.

Definately worth buying if you're on a budget or if you want a good back up marker.

The only downside I have found is that it tends to use a lot of air and will last 800 shots before the balls start rolling out the barrel and 200 shots before there is a noticable difference.
